Fitmet notes
– 3mm spacers perfectly clear the hub lip. Smooth sailing after that.
– On the Model 3 Performance, be conscious of the plastic cylinder (electric brake actuator) on the back side of the rear caliper. There is clearance for the hub, but not with wheel weights.
– These are not light tires, but overall the setup reduce the wheel / tire weight from 56.8lbs to 53.4lbs.
– I personally think that the Uberturbine wheels are ridiculous with excessive stretch, insuficient sidewall protection and a very heavy look (consistent with the fact that they are very heavy). I had a set of EC7s on my BMW M235i for about 5 years. The flow formed wheels are track tested and very durable. No need at all of the forged wheels unless you are really chasing ounces…on a two ton car…
