I’ve looked through a few threads about home delivery. My P3D is ready to be delivered and I pushed to have delivery at a local Tesla Store here in the Bay Area. The delivery associate pretty much said that if its not home delivery the vin gets released and back in line.

So I’m going to allow a home delivery, which kinda bums me out. I’m spending a whole lot of money and wanted the experience and excitement of store pickup. With that said has anyone experienced a home delivery where there has been a problem with the car. I’m kind of worried that the delivery guy will just drop off the car and I’ll have little chance to inspect and if need be reject the car.

So unless Elon personally deliveres it (which Elon if you read this it’d be totally cool to have you bring the car!) do I have anything to be concerned about?
